All Are Welcome but Not All Behaviors

Individual Groups set their own rules/guidelines. Here are the Network-Wide Guidelines:

  • Never Alone Alano Club does not cooperate with courts, clinics, or supervision officials or sign cards. It is up to your individual group(s) to decide whether or not they do that. At this time our flagship group ( also does not do this.

  • Groups/meetings engaged in sourcing or selling drugs, other illegal acvities, or coordinated trolling/attacks on other chatrooms may be delisted if the room founder/TS are involved.

  • No abusive behavior. This includes threats, personal insults, hate speech, racism, sexism, homophobic remarks, encouraging suicide, promoting drinking or using over recovery, and other matters inappropriate for a recovery forum. NAAC reserves the right to override a group and ban people engaged in these behaviors from its infrastructure.

  • Our website is the Internet equivalent of a church, clubhouse, or other outside facility where meetings are held. Individual fellowships such as AA, NA, etc are not responsible for what happens in a church, a clubhouse, or an outside facility such as ours.

  • We have no affiliation with any of the fellowships or meetings hosted on this website. Meetings are either listed in our directory or they are hosted on our platform.

  • If you were to vandalize a clubhouse or facility or engage in violence directed at another member, you would be banned from their property. Anyone involved with hacking or denial of service attacks directed against our website -- along with those who engage in violence/threats of violence towards other members -- can expect to be banned from our "property," too.

    What is an Alano Club?

  • A source of information about the diseases of alcoholism and addiction.
  • A meeting place for recovery groups to have meetings on a regular basis.
  • A facility to provide social and recreational activities for the recovering addict/alcoholic and their families in a clean and sober environment.
  • A contact point for individuals seeking assistance in the recovery process.
  • A non-profit corporation owned solely by its members and funded entirely through dues, contributions.
